The W Glass by HMM

Not too long ago, we introduced the HMM brand and the concept behind their designs — one of them being the globally loved W Glass. And in honor of the brand’s new limited edition color: Pink, we wanted to shed some light on the mug we are huge fans of here at Mogutable.

The W Glass is made with such intricacy and attention to detail by local Taiwanese craftsmen with recycled glass. Inspired by the concept of the cycle of life, the hours of the clock are transformed into twelve elegant angles.

The integrated glass handle on this mug is heat-proof, making it a practical product for both hot and colder drinks. 

HMM designs with the circular economy top of mind (a model of production and consumption that involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible so that when a product reaches the end of its life, its materials are kept within the economy wherever possible). The brand is an expert when it comes to creating something so beautiful and functional from materials that would have otherwise been wasted — this W Glass being the best example of that.
