Our Williamsburg Guide

As our store is located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, we’ve come to know and love some spots that have easily become our go-to’s for coffee, pastries, food, flowers, and more. And we simply want to share them with you!

Here are some of our favorites for your next day out in the vibrant, lovely, and dynamic neighborhood of Williamsburg.

Coffee, tea, and pastries

Buddies BrooklynLocated on Grand St, this cafe greets you with warmth from all the light the space welcomes. Along with a delicious cup of roasted coffee, you’ll end up picking up the fun and “edgy” personality the shop has — which can really make your day. P.S. they’re vegan friendly!

Puerh Brooklyn TeashopThe folks at Puerh Brooklyn Teashop are passionate about good tea. And their space goes to show for it. Their Grand St. location has a tea room that offers experiences such as private tea ceremonies, tea tasting, and more. Unlike your average tea store, Puerh offers a curated selection of quality teas from around the world! We love sipping on their wulong cha (oolong) from our Terracotta Mug in Chaozhou Green

La Bicyclette Bakery: Sticky buns, croissants, brioche, choco roulé… is your mouth watering yet? We love picking up our pastries for the day at La Bicyclette. You can head over to their Instagram just to get a sense of the deliciousness they’re always baking on Driggs Ave. and Fillmore Pl.

Restaurants

Birds of a FeatherCreated by the Michelin-starred duo behind Cafe China, this is our go-to for really really delicious Sichuan cuisine (but sometimes with a refined twist). Step into their space to be surrounded by modern, timeless, and personal interior design. It’s not a proper trip to Birds of a Feather without trying their poached wontons in chili sauce!

AuroraWe love Aurora for its beautiful Tuscan interior, but also for their rustic Italian cooking. It’s rare finding a restaurant with this much space in Manhattan, so a dining experience here feels somewhat refreshing. We love sitting outside when the weather is warm!

HanonHanon is our go-to spot to have an easy, casual, and affordable meal consisting of tasty Japanese cuisine. Combining convenience and deliciousness together, this narrow but cozy restaurant offers some of the best udon noodles you might try in the city. We recommend the Japanese Fried Chicken, Cabbage Steak, and Mentai Udon!

ALAND: Hailing from Seoul, S. Korea, this multi-brand store carries clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, and more from designers worth remembering. Located on 6th St, ALAND is one of 19 stores globally. We love discovering new, unique, and fun brands and designs within this space!

Yoseka StationeryWhile this store is technically in Greenpoint, we can’t help but to include it in this list. When stepping into Yoseka, you’ll feel as if you've been transported to another decade of the past. Yoseka brings you top-quality stationery products from Taiwan, Japan, and other parts of Asia. As the ‘offline’ world seems to become more rare, the products and culture this simple store offers feels that much more special.

Florist & Garden

Fox Fodder FarmIf you ask anyone to think of “florals” and “Brooklyn” together, they most likely will respond with “Fox Fodder Farm.” This floral design studio offers absolutely stunning floral arrangements for personal gifting, installations, events, and more. Anyone can buy a floral arrangement. But Fox Fodder Farm is available for thoughtful and intentional art by way of stems.

Geometry Floral & GiftAnother local favorite, Geometry Gardens is made up of experts in horticulture, and passionate florists. Their space is home (albeit a temporary one) for fresh cut flowers, indoor and outdoor plants, design services, and workshops. Their plants may be complete in our plant pots

Chelsea Garden CenterChelsea Garden Center’s large space accommodates the variety of plants and supplies they have. Philodendrons, Dracaenas, Pothos, Sansevierias/Snake Plants, Calatheas, and Ficus Lyratas are just a few out of many plant friends you’ll want to make your own. They’re truly a one stop shop for all your garden needs.
