Introducing Mogutable In-House Products

Over the past year, we’ve been slowly working on something of our own.

Creating in-house products has always been part of what we hoped Mogutable could grow into, not all at once, but gradually, in ways that feel natural to us.

Some of these pieces first made their way into our stores. If you’ve visited, you might have come across them already. Now, they’re also available online.

Our first ceramic pieceCeramic Avocado Plate, Top view

The Avocado Plate is our first ceramic product under Mogutable.

This ceramic plate features a hand-sculpted avocado resting gently in the middle. Each piece is made in small batches locally, with subtle variations that come from the making process.

It’s a simple object meant for everyday use, something small to hold fruit, snacks, or whatever finds its way onto it.

Having our name on a ceramic piece for the first time feels especially meaningful to us. You can find the Avocado Plate in our collection here.

Candles and soaps

Our Tomato Leaf and Pink Guava candles and soaps have been with us since the end of last year, and quickly became favorites.

They’re made locally in NYC in small batches. The scents come from things we’ve always been drawn to, fresh, green tomato leaves, and the vibrant sweetness of Taiwan pink guava.

They’re meant to feel familiar and easy to live with, something you can return to in your everyday routines. You can explore the full collection of candles and soaps here.

Where we started

Before these, there were the prints and postcards we created with Chang Chih.

They were the first products we made under Mogutable. We still think of them as our starting point, simple pieces that reflect how we see and collect everyday moments. You can view the prints and postcards here.

Making products as a small team hasn’t always been straightforward, and we’re still learning as we go. We’re thankful to work with partners who helped bring these pieces to life.

We’ll continue to expand our in-house collection over time, focusing on small batch, locally made pieces designed for everyday use.

We’re looking forward to sharing more with you soon.
