Yosegi-bordered Octagonal Tray

Product Specs:
W290 × D290 × H25mm

This octagonal wooden tray pairs a solid wood center with a finely crafted Yosegi border, bringing subtle pattern and contrast to its clean geometric form. The Yosegi is created by precisely joining naturally contrasting woods, allowing the colors and grain of each species to become part of the design.

Crafted by Odawara-based woodworker Junno Kobayashi, the tray reflects her specialty in Yosegi and precise joinery. Rather than covering the entire surface with pattern, Kobayashi uses Yosegi with restraint, creating an everyday piece that feels both refined and distinctly handcrafted.
