TEGAMI Miniature Tea Set - Japanese Style / Yosegi Walnut

Product Specs:
Case ø42 × H25mm

These miniature wooden objects are crafted by Hisao Saito, a master woodturner in Odawara, Japan, with more than six decades of experience. Using a lathe and specialized curved handplanes called kuseganna, Saito shapes each tiny piece with remarkable precision.

Today, he is the only craftsman in Odawara still making these miniature tea sets, carrying forward a highly specialized woodworking tradition through pieces small enough to rest in the palm of your hand.
