The Soup Mug takes the same approach as 3RD Ceramics' tall mug: bisque-fired by a manufacturer in Tajimi for strength and uniformity, then finished in the studio's own kiln. Wider and shallower than a standard mug, it was designed with soup in mind but adapts easily — matcha, warm oats, congee, anything you want to hold with two hands.
