Seasonal Shipping & Inventory Associate
About the Role
Mogutable is looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Seasonal Shipping & Inventory Associate to join our team at our Williamsburg location.
This is a hands-on role focused on online order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. You'll help ensure orders are packed accurately and shipped on time, incoming merchandise is properly processed, and our stores and holiday markets stay well-stocked throughout the busy season.
This position is expected to run through the end of 2026, with the possibility of continuing into early 2027.
Responsibilities
- Pick, process, and carefully pack online orders for shipment
- Prepare shipping labels and ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time
- Receive and unpack incoming shipments, checking quantities and inspecting products for damage
- Label and prepare merchandise for the sales floor
- Organize inventory and maintain tidy, accessible backstock areas
- Perform regular inventory checks and counts to maintain accuracy
- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the manager
- Prepare and organize inventory transfers and restocks for our Williamsburg and East Village stores
- Prepare regular restocks for our holiday markets, starting approximately once per week and increasing to 2–3 times per week during the peak holiday season
- Assist with assembling gift boxes and packaging private-label products
- Maintain a clean and organized packing and storage area
- Support other shipping and inventory tasks as needed

- Comfortable working independently and managing daily tasks with minimal supervision
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in a busy environment
- Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on tasks
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn order management systems
- Comfortable standing for extended periods during a shift
- Able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability during the busy holiday season
- Previous shipping, fulfillment, inventory, or retail experience is a plus
- A valid driver's license and driving experience are a plus
Holiday Availability
The holiday season is our busiest time of year, and scheduling flexibility is important. Additional days or hours may be needed during peak periods, and certain blackout dates may apply when time off may not be available. Scheduling needs and blackout dates will be communicated in advance.
Position Details
- Position: Seasonal, part-time
- Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn
- Duration: Through the end of 2026, with the possibility of extending into early 2027
- Schedule: Part-time, with 2–3 days per week
- Pay: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
