Part-Time Retail Sales Associate

About the Role

Mogutable is looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our Williamsburg and East Village stores.

This role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining a welcoming store environment, and supporting daily store operations. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, appreciates thoughtfully designed products, and is comfortable with both customer-facing and hands-on tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
  • Assist customers with product questions and recommendations
  • Process purchases, returns, and exchanges using our POS system
  • Maintain a clean and organized store, including regular cleaning and housekeeping tasks
  • Restock shelves and maintain attractive product displays
  • Receive, check, count, and unpack incoming shipments
  • Organize inventory and backstock
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Support other daily store operations as needed

  • Previous retail, customer service, or POS system experience is a plus
  • Weekend availability is required

Position Details

  • Position: Part-time, year-round
  • Location: Williamsburg, Brooklyn and East Village, Manhattan
  • Schedule: Approximately 14-28 hours per week, including weekends
  • Pay: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
