Incense has been part of Chinese rituals for centuries: three sticks lit together, held between both palms, a bow, a wish murmured before the smoke finishes rising. One deliberate moment in a day set aside to stand still and let the mind settle.
Temple Smoke, 紫烟, is built around that same pause – smoke curling upward, breath slowing to match it. The notes of this candle capture the first breath of the smoke rising, the resinous heart of the incense, and the warmth that lingers long after it clears.
